Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between Modhruti LLP, Bengaluru ("we") and the firm that signs up for KalpaNele ("you"). By creating a workspace you accept them on behalf of your firm.
The service
KalpaNele is software for managing construction and design projects: workspaces, site visits, drawings, photos, agreements, invoices and payment records. We may improve or change features over time and will tell you in advance about changes that reduce what your plan includes.
Your account and your people
- You are responsible for who you invite, the roles you give them and what they do in your workspace.
- You must have the right to upload the drawings, photos and personal data you add, including your clients' and staff's details.
- Ask staff for their consent before they share location during site visits; the app asks them too.
Trial, plans and payment
- New firms get a free trial. When it ends the workspace becomes read-only until you choose a paid plan.
- Plans are paid monthly or yearly in advance through Razorpay. Prices exclude GST, which is charged as applicable, and every payment gets a GST invoice.
- There is no automatic renewal. If a period ends without payment, the workspace becomes read-only; your data stays.
Payments between you and your clients
Money your clients pay you never passes through KalpaNele. The invoices, receipts and payment records the app produces are your firm's documents, and you are responsible for their correctness, including GST.
Your data
Your project data belongs to your firm. We process it only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy. You can ask for an export at any time, and after you close your account we delete it within 90 days, except records we must keep by law.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, to upload content you have no right to share, to try to access another firm's data, or to disrupt the service for others. We may suspend a workspace that does, and will tell you why.
Liability
We work hard to keep the service available and your data safe, but we provide it as is. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit.
