KalpaNele

X-ray / Hidden services, mapped before plaster

See inside every wall you have ever built.

KalpaNele keeps each project in one workspace: drawings, site visits, progress photos, agreements and payments. Before the plaster goes on, your site team photographs and tags every pipe and conduit, so years later anyone can find them without breaking a wall.

Workspace / Buildings, floors, units

A workspace for every building, floor and flat

Set up a project the way it is built: a villa, a row of houses or an apartment block with its floors and flats. Drawings, photos, issues and payments sit against the exact building, floor or unit they belong to.

Invite each owner to their own flat. The owner of Flat 202 sees Flat 202 and the shared lobby and terrace, and nothing from Flat 402, not even that it exists.

Field / Live site visits

Site visits your clients can follow

Your engineer taps once when leaving for site. The client sees who is coming and when, gets told about a delay before they start calling, and knows when the visit actually happened.

Arrival is detected at the site boundary, so attendance builds itself from real visits instead of a register. Location is used only during a visit, with the person's consent, as the DPDP Act expects.

Drawings / Revisions and comments

Drawings and progress photos, with the client's comments on them

Keep a drawing register with revisions, issue drawings for construction, and ask clients to approve the ones that need it. Progress photos from site land in the right room of the right flat.

Clients comment on the drawing or photo itself, so a change request never gets lost in a WhatsApp group.

Can we move the switch board in the bedroom 30 cm to the left? The wardrobe goes there.

Kavya Shenoy, architect

Moved in R3 and shared with the site team. Please approve when you can.

Finance / Agreements and payments

Agreements, GST invoices and part payments

Draw up the fee agreement with stage-wise payments, raise GST invoices with CGST and SGST or IGST worked out from the site's state, and record part payments as they come in, with receipts.

No money flows through KalpaNele. Clients pay you directly by UPI, bank transfer, cheque or cash; the app keeps the record. Work that does not need a tax invoice can still be tracked as plain payments.

FAQ / Before you sign up

Questions firms ask

Do my clients need to install an app?

No. They get an invitation by email, open it on their phone and sign in with a one-time code sent to their email. They can add it to the home screen if they like.

Can one flat owner see another owner's flat?

No. Each client is tied to their own unit. They see shared areas such as the lobby and terrace, and nothing from other flats: no photos, comments, payments, issues or hidden services.

Does client money pass through you?

Never. Clients pay your firm directly. KalpaNele records the payment against the agreement and issues the receipt. The only payment we take is your own subscription.

We are not registered for GST. Can we still use it?

Yes. GST invoices are optional. You can record agreements and payments without tax invoices, and switch them on once you add your GSTIN.

What happens when the 15-day trial ends?

Your workspace becomes read-only until you choose a plan. Nothing is deleted, and your clients can still see what was shared with them.

How is my team's location used?

Only during a site visit, from the moment someone starts the journey until they arrive, and only after they agree to it once. It is used for the ETA, arrival and attendance.

Where is our data kept?

In India, on Google Cloud in Mumbai. Every firm's data is isolated at the database level. The security page has the details.
